TurboTax does not hold your tax refund.
If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees deducted. The third party processor will then deduct the fees and attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.

It shows the IRS has sent my taxes but I still have not gotten it. I did request with turbo tax to take out fees from my refund. It was sent by the IRS 2/27/2020 and I still have not gotten it. How come? What do I do?

the answer show above your post.They sent it to a bank so can state tax can they take my Federal taxes
They sent it the bank.but I really don't have a bank account. Can the IRS can the state take my Federal tax. Cuz I haven't got they yet

Donald Graham, I am trying to understand the issue. Did the IRS say that they deposited your refund into a bank account? Are you asking if your state can take your federal refund? Please reply to this post to clarify so that we can better assist you.
I have been on the phone with your rep for the last 48 minutes and she can not even answer the simplest of questions. I will never use your service again, and would appreciate a complete refund. I doubt she can even spell her name. Your company guarantees 100% satisfaction or your money back. Well I am extremely dissatisfied with this whole process. My refund was issued by the IRS on March 9, 2022 and I have yet to receive it. I paid for premium service and I'm getting first grader service.

I’m going to be extremely upset because I swear we can NEVER catch a break! I needed this money yesterday and just filed to have fees taken out of my refund. If our money is not issued in our bank when the irs says it’s sent, I will demand a refund as well. This information was NOT disclosed when it gives you the option to have it taken from your refund! Ugh 😣 I’m so depressed now 🤦🏼♀️
