How long do I wait before I resubmit my rejected taxes after amending my dependent taxes so I can claim them on my taxes? I filed their taxes with 1 mistake

Their amended taxes got accepted but when I resubmit my taxes, it keeps getting rejected

Sorry you have to print and mail it.  You don't have to wait.  Amending won't clear their ssn from the IRS so you can't efile it again.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

Do not bother waiting.   Your dependent's amended return will take months--at least six months or maybe more.   His SSN is in the system and you will not be able to e-file at all this year if you are claiming him.   The only way to file your return.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

that claims your dependent is to file by mail.  Print it , sign and date it in ink, and mail it in.
