How do I file my taxes if I moved in the middle of last year?

Like I moved in September of last year and had a job transfer to a different Burger King and then work there till the beginning of this month I got a new job at a restaurant

Do you mean you moved to a different state?   Or did you move to a different address in the same state?  Sounds like you had at least two different jobs so you should receive two W-2's---one from each employer you worked for.   Both W-2 's have to go on the same tax return.  Make sure that the employers have your address to sent the W-2's to.

If you stayed in the same state then you will file a return for that one state.   If you moved to a different state you will have to file part year tax returns for each state----if they are states that have a state income tax.

You do not enter anything about the new job you started in 2022 on your 2021 tax return.  You will put that on next year's return for 2022.

Okay----so you only have to file in that one state if your state has a state income tax.    You changed Burger Kings that you worked at?    Ask the employer if they will send only one W-2 for Burger King or two---one for each location.    it is possible that you might only get one but you need to know for sure so that you put all of your income on your tax return.
