Filing a Second Amendment

Hi,

I need to file a second amended return for a previous tax year. However, I noticed that TurboTax fills in the "original" column with elements from the original return and not the amounts after the first amendment. Is this intentional, or should the original columns reflect the original return + the first amendment?

I found this article [1] that shows how to do it with the desktop software. Is there any way to do this using TurboTax online?

You can.  Just go in to your online account and find the return you want to amend.  Click on the 'add a state' button at the bottom of the screen and it will take you into the return.  Make the adjustments to your return that you made when you amended it the first time.  (Hopefully you have a copy of that return saved somewhere).  Then amend the return.
