Federal return rejected with message:SH-F1040-520-01 - Schedule H (Form 1040), 'EmployerEIN' and 'EmployerNameControlTxt' must match data in the e-File database.

I have confirmed that my EIN which carried forward from last year's return is correct on Schedule H.  I have compared it to the last 2 years.  I've deleted the form and re-entered the household employee information.  What else can I do?  My return has been rejected several times.

I have already done this.  The agent was not able to resolve my issue and therefore recommended that I mail in my return which I did on Friday, April 15th.

I've called again today and was told that it was a 30 minute wait.

Has the issue been resolved, & if so, how did you do it? I’m currently dealing through the same issue.

I used Turbo Tax Home and Business. As I stated before, I ended up having to mail my tax return.  It took 8-9 months to receive my refund.

Hello! I am also having my return rejected. Were you are able to sort through this eventually?

No which makes me leary of using turbo tax this time.  I never received a response that explained the issue. Are you having this issue with your tax return you are filing this year now?

Yes - having this issue with my return for 2022. After calling the IRS they said it could take up to 12 MONTHS for a newly-registered EIN to "register in the system." I'll try to e-file again before the deadline but if that fails, I'll need to paper file.
