Yes, this is common.  To be clear, TurboTax has submitted your return, and now the IRS must accept it and approve your refund. This is because the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act (PATH Act) prevents the IRS from issuing early refunds on any tax return that claims the EITC and/or ACTC.‌ It is anticipated that by February 22, the IRS’s Where’s My Refund tool will be updated.

Or where did you find the recourses on the date? But I’m just wondering, bc is this for everyone who had an EIC ? Or is there anyone got a confirmation of approval yet on their where my refund site ? @Rod28569 To clarify- the estimate of February 22nd is when the IRS said the "Where's my Refund Tool" will be updated.  The tool will then tell you when to expect your refund.  The source of the tool anticipated to be updated was the IRS announcement, linked by @xmasbaby0 , and also here: When to expect your refund if you claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit

This is impacting all taxpayers that claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and/or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC). ‌This is because the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act (PATH Act) prevents the IRS from issuing early refunds.

Yeah that’s what I read on the irs.gov into your account by March 3rd. I hope the other person was right that we should get some kind of update by February 22, but February 22 is a Saturday so they were to update something and then have to be Friday I was just wondering, did everyone else have the same thing I see were you only see it say the same wording right now they accepted it but is because EIC situation that’s what I was wondering have anyone gotten past that page yet? Or same as what I’m seeing ?

I guess having the result screen saying the tax thing will get release mid February is normal I was just wondering if anyone else might had something newer if they’re claiming the same thing I’m claiming EIC just have to wait

I got a question mine has EIC and it was accepted around 1/22 what is your prediction as far as like the top of the line it should be released to me, but should it be like around by March 3 as what I said since I’m literally I’m early filler?
