If you have already been approved it is too late to change your direct deposit information. You can look at a copy of your return to see if there is an account number there. If there is, that will be the account your refund will be deposited in. If there is nothing there, you will receive a paper check mailed to the address on file.

Please follow the instructions below to check your tax return.

You can find your bank account and routing number located at the bottom of your 1040 under the Refund section.

First, log into your account.

Once inside, scroll down to the bottom of the screen

On the section, Your tax returns & documents click on Show.

Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

You may want to check your tax return to see what account you put down for direct deposit. If you selected to use a TurboTax Prepaid Debit Card, it would have been mailed out to you. If you already have one, it might be the account information for that card you already have.

Please see this Turbo Tax FAQ on IRS refund methods.

If you put in a card that is not approved, you will need to contact the IRS. They may send you a check.
