did not receive my full refund amount

So I filed on January 25th and waited until march 6th (more than 21 days) for my refund, which was disappointing. On turbo tax my refund was $2,096, yet i only received $696. Which when logging back in to turbo tax it still shows my full amount was accepted. Where did it go? Is there any reason as to why $1,400 is missing from my refund without explanation??

Did you use Pay with Refund for your TurboTax fees? If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third-party processor (SBTPG) to have the fees and the service charge deducted. SBTPG will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.

For the status of your tax refund or the amount of your refund, you will need to contact SBTPG, toll-free at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website.

The IRS may issue a smaller refund because of an adjustment or refund offset. If this is the case, you will receive an explanatory letter from the IRS. For more information, please see: Why is my direct-deposited refund or check lower than the amount in TurboTax? For specific questions regarding your tax refund, you can contact the IRS by following the steps in this help article: How do I contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)?

I didn't use pay with refund for any fees from turbo tax as I used the free edition. Additionally I also did receive a letter from the IRS which states that the following reasons for my refund offset are,  and then it listed 4 reasons which all did not apply to my refund.

That is usually the list of generic reasons they give if they changed the Recovery rebate credit on line 30.  How much is on 1040 line 30?

Do you have an amount on 1040 line 30 for the Recovery rebate credit?   Did you not get the 3rd Stimulus payment?  Or qualify for more?  Line 30 is only if you didn't get the full amount or qualify for more.

If you claimed a missing stimulus payment on your return but the IRS took it off you have to ask the IRS. They think they already sent it to you.  Maybe it went to an account you don't remember. Or you got a check or a card. It was probably easy to miss the debit card in the mail and think it was junk mail. They have to put a trace on it.

Double check your bank statements and Check your IRS account to see when and what they sent you (check both spouse's accounts if married)

line 30 on my 1040 is 1400 for my recovery rebate, and i did not receive a 3rd stimulus. I also know in fact i haven't received a card or check in the mail or a deposit into my account for the 3rd stimulus. Also i filed as single.

Then check your IRS account and see if the IRS says they sent you the 3rd Stimulus.  If they did but you didn't get it then you have to put a trace on it.  See my post above.
