Colorado tax refund

Turbotax completed my taxes on 1/24/25. It's now 3/20/25. They said they would let me know when colorado starts accepting filings, and I know for a fact they are because people that only filed three weeks ago are getting their refunds. I have accessed the state site, they say they have not received the filing yet. This does look more like a Turbotax problem and not a state problem. I have tried every phone number that says I can talk to an actual person and all I get is the same robo response telling me to contact the IRS. I need to hearfrom Turbotax that they filed my state return.

Turbotax processed my federal and state returns at the same time. I received my federal refund a long time ago. Nothing was done seperatly. What I need to know is, does Turbotax have a record of having submitted my Colorado state return?

What does it say in your TT online account?   Does it show that the state return was e-filed?  Does it show that the state was accepted?

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

The last email says my fed has been accepted. It says nothing about the state. The ttonline says "congratulations you've finished all your taxes". And the amount of my fed and colorado refunds. The last message I received from Turbotax back in January is "Colorado is not accepting returns yet, we will contact you when they do". Colorado says they have not received it yet. People are already receiving their refunds.

Ttonline says my Colorado form along with my fed are all complete. Should I hit the button for review and sign again? That doesn't seem like a good idea, but the site also tells me to continue with finishing Colorado. It has conflicting messages.

The link you just sent me for the customer support phone number? It says "this page can't be reached, it may be outdated". How 'bout you just tell me the actual phone number? It's not a secret right?

Here's an update for any of you out there having the same problem in Colorado as me. Just go back through the Colorado portion of the filing process, everything will have already been filled out, and when it comes time to sign your tax return, just sign it again (even though you've already done it before). Sure enough, I just got the email stating my Colorado return had been accepted.

What has happened since then? I’m having the same problem. On the Colorado website it says my return has been recieved but I filed 2/26/2025. I originally filed 1/18/25 but they only filed my federal return and weeks later I went back into my state return on turbo tax and filed it. They told told me it would be filed automatically when Colorado starts accepting refunds but it was not. My refund has just been saying refund accepted on the Colorado website for a month now.

If you only filed your Federal return on 1/18/25, then yes, you would have had to go back in and file your state. If you would have filed your Federal AND State on 1/18/25, TurboTax would have held your Colorado return and then automatically forwarded it once Colorado started accepting returns.
