I need to file an Amended 1120-S, and am receiving mixed messages from Turbotax Business 2022 regarding e-filing.
I started a fresh return with a new name, entered all my information, reached the end of my amended return, and clicked, e-file. Turbotax did not prompt me to attach an E-file declaration like it did the first time. But it appeared to transmit and then displayed the "Accepted" message on the e-file status tab.
However...... I did NOT receive an acceptance email confirming that the IRS had indeed received my return.
So, I'm trying to figure out whether it went through or not???
When I login to the Turbotax website to check status, it does not show any information on either the first or the second return. So that is no help.
Reading several similar posts from previous years leads me to believe that my amended return was probably NOT transmitted in spite of Turbotax displaying the "Accepted" status.
If anyone has any insight on this or knows whether Turbotax is able to transmit Amended returns 1120-S returns for 2022, I would appreciate clarity on the subject.
Turbo Tax is able to e-file amended returns for the year 2022, just not years prior to that.

I've called numerous turbotax representatives to resolve this same issue but no one can help. Has anyone found the correct solution?

I've been trying to e-file an amended 2022 Form 1120S and CA100s, but there seems to be a glitch in the desktop Turbotax.Business software. No customer support can help me with this. The issue needs to be addressed with upper management who can get tech-support to fix the software. Who can I contact about this technical problem?

I agree, upper management / software engineers, need to be notified. No matter what I've tried I cannot e-file an amended return. This frustrating. If they cannot fix it then we need a refund so we can take it to a tax professional to file on our behalf. What good is this software if we cannot use it? My state will NOT accept returns via USPS.
TurboTax Business does not support Efiling an Amended Business return. You will need to mail it. You don't pay for an Amended return, only the original filing.
