Can't E-File Missouri State Taxes

When I entered both my W-2s for 2023, it said that something could not be completed by e-filing online, and it had to be done by mail. It did not say which one was incomplete, nor what needed to be completed.

I finished filing my federal return, and now my main profile says "FEDERAL - ACCEPTED" as well as "STATE MO - READY TO MAIL" with an option to "download return."

I downloaded the return, but now I have no clue whatsoever what to do next!

Please help!!!

I ran am having the same issue. When I printed out my state tax return forms, on the instructions page it says to "attach renewal of benefits application and supporting documents for Missouri Department of Social Services." I have searched everywhere for this form and cant find it anywhere.

You can call, go online, or mail the form to renew your social services. See Medicaid Annual Renewals. You can delete the form from your MO tax return and then e-file.

If you are using:

  • Online: see How do I view and delete forms in TTO?
  •  Desktop: If you are working in the cd/download TurboTax program:
    1. On the top right, there is a FORMS button.
    2. Click on FORMS.
    3. Locate the form you want to delete.
    4. Click on the form name.
    5. Below the form, bottom left, select DELETE FORM button.
