Can I e-file a 1040-X for a tax return that was filed on paper (not e-filed)?

In 2020, my husband and I filed our return on paper.  There are some issues (IRS didn't recognize all of our dependents) that need to be amended.  So, my question is can we e-file the 1040-X for tax year 2020 if we didn't e-file our original tax return for 2020?

Using the TurboTax personal edition software, a 2020 amended tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.
