I do not have access to my mother's email to reset her password. I can fax the POA information if needed.
If she previously used Turbotax installed on her own computer, only she has copies of any old files, they are not online.
If she used Turbotax online, you need to call customer support. You will probably need to fax in the POA and proof of identity for both you and your mom, it may take a couple days to get things reset.

Have you yourself been using TurboTax? And if so, do you yourself have an online account, or do you use the desktop product (CD/download)?
We can tell you how to phone TurboTax Support to discuss your issue, but the method to reach them, which might not be easy, depends on whether you use one of the above.
Do you know for a fact that your mother's 2017 tax return was filed with the online version of TurboTax? If she filed with the CD version of the program, then the 2017 tax return is not online in any TurboTax account. It would be on the computer that TurboTax 2017 was installed on.
However, you should be able to get what you need directly from the IRS at <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript">http://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript</a>.
If you need to get into your mother's TurboTax account, there is a specific procedure for that which must be followed to the letter for legal reasons. But if you can get what you need directly from the IRS, there's no need to bother jumping through all those hoops.
