Amend a return using Turbotax online is not shown as option for a return that was submitted online last year (2021) only the desktop option is shown. Path forward?

If you used TurboTax Online to file your original 2021 tax return, simply login to your account and select "Amend a return that was filed and accepted." Please respond back here if this is not an option for you:

How do I amend my federal tax return for a prior year?

The option to “amend using TurboTax online” doesn’t show up.  Only the desktop option shows up.  I filed online and I need to amend online since I only have a Chromebook.

Well you have a problem because you must use the downloaded version which can only be done on a full PC ... so your options are :

1) find a computer you can use/borrow

2) complete a 1040X manually 

3) use a local  tax pro
