ACTION REQUIRED: Your tax return was rejected by the IRS

I've received an email with the subject  as above containing the following message, "IND-031-04 - The primary taxpayer's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year does not match IRS records." I was able to get in touch with TT help who was unable to share screens, answer some of my questions and could only send me a link that I was told would enable me to request a last year's return from the IRS (didn't quite sound correct but what do I know?). It turns out the link was to a sign in for Intuit Enterprise SSO. and seemed to be associated with Quickbooks.  Now, the entire time we are on the phone I keep telling that I am looking at the 2021 return (printed) that has the AGI that was transferred to the 2022 return. More kinks, when I went into my Intuit account the only return that was there for 2021 was a partially filled out "married filing separately" return that we decided not to use because we were better off filing jointly. I've gone back through my emails and my returns were accepted for last year (TurboTax Update: Federal Return Accepted) so I don't understand where the issue is and apparently neither did TT.

If it was rejected for AGI—-be aware that many 2021 returns took so long for the IRS to process that your 2021 AGI might not be in the IRS system.   Try using zero instead.

If filing with zero is rejected then file again but select the option that you did not file last year.  The IRS does not see that question and it will allow you to e-file with no AGI question.

If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.
