A comment on Line 8 of my 1040 Schedule 1 from last year appears to have been carried forward this year. How can I edit the form to delete?

It depends upon what the input is for.

 

I recommend you do the following to figure out where the amount was entered.

1. Go to the federal section of the program.
2. Select Income & Expenses
3. Scroll down to All Income 
4. Scroll down.  Any areas where you have already entered information will say Edit
5. Select these sections until you find your original input
6. You will then be able to select delete or select a trash can icon to delete the input.  This will remove the description from your tax return.
