2021 Federal rejection IND-032-04. 2020 Spouses AGI or Pin # doesn't agree with header. They do. Now what?

Getting a rejection notice IND-032-04. Spouses 2020 AGI or Pin # doesn't agree with the header. They do agree. I've tried it twice after checking to make sure information is correct. Any suggestions? Thanks

Try entering a 0 (zero) for your spouse's 2020 AGI and e-file the tax return again.

Thanks; I seem to recall that happening last year also. Any thoughts as to why it's not working with the correct AGI from 2020. I refiled a little while ago and if rejected I will try 0. Thanks.

Apparently there is an issue with the IRS database which stores the prior year AGI's based on Social Security numbers.

I have not tried 0 yet but will in a little while. It's just confusing to me how this could be a problem when you file jointly and it seems to only flag and reject the spouse. Thanks for your input and if you have any other thoughts please advise.

Anyone else having this issue?

Tried that process and still rejected. Filing jointly so if they accept the information for the primary taxpayer why do they reject the same AGI for the spouse? From other comments I'm beginning to believe it's and IRS data base issue. Thanks for your input.

This is useless advice. It doesn't fix anything. I've been trying to get my returns accepted for 8 hours now and nothing fixes the error.

If the IRS is rejecting the 2021 tax return for the 2020 AGI there is a possibility that the IRS does not have your 2020 AGI in their database.

Enter a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file the 2021 tax return again.
