If you chose up to 5 days early refund delivery, Refund Advance, or Pay with My Refund, you may see that your refund is with a third-party bank like Cross River Bank, Green Dot, or SBTPG on the IRS Where’s my refund? site.

  • Cross River Bank handles the advance on your refund when you pay for up to 5 days early refund delivery.

  • Credit Karma Money handles the advance on your refund when you choose the free version of up to 5 days early refund delivery.

  • Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (SBTPG) takes the tax prep fees from your refund and forwards the rest to your bank account when you use Pay with My Refund. Green Dot is the parent company of SBTPG.

You can sign in to your Credit Karma Money account to access or transfer your refund once it’s delivered.

If your refund is with Green Dot, SBTPG, or Cross River Bank, and it’s not deposited directly into your bank account, you will be sent a check in the mail.

Once you have filed your tax return, TurboTax can't redirect your refund to a different account.
