How do I fix e-file reject IND-524?

E-file rejection IND-524 happens when the date of birth for the first person listed on your return doesn't match IRS records.
First, get a copy of your 2024 Form 1040 and find the first person listed. (If you filed by yourself, you'll be the only person on your return.) Then, find an official document like your birth certificate, passport, or driver's license, to ensure you have the correct date.
Select your version of TurboTax below for instructions and be sure to enter the date in the standard U.S. format of MM/DD/YYYY.
