How do I prepare a prior-year return?

You can download TurboTax software to prepare your 2022, 2023, or 2024 taxes.
Go to turbotax.com and select File your taxes, then File taxes for a prior year. Choose the year and version you want, and then select Windows or Mac.
Sign in and complete your purchase, then download and install the software on your computer.
Open TurboTax and complete your return for that year. When you're done, we'll walk you through the steps to print and mail your return.
We don't sell TurboTax for 2021 or earlier, but you can download the forms and instructions from the IRS and most state tax websites.
