If you use Quicken Desktop and TurboTax Desktop for Windows, you can import some of your info. This isn’t available for Mac. Mac customers can upload a .txf file instead (instructions here).

Follow these steps:

  • Open Quicken.

  • Make sure you've assigned tax form line items to your data in Quicken (more help).

  • Open your Quicken data file.

  • Open your return in TurboTax.

  • In TurboTax, select File, then Import, then From Accounting Software.

  • Choose Quicken

  • Select Continue.

  • We’ll walk you through the rest of the import process.

  • After importing, review your data to make sure it's correct.

To delete this info, select File then Remove Imported Data.
