Open or continue your return
Navigate to the Wages & Income section to find your W-2
On the Your W-2 summary screen, select Edit next to your W-2 (if you have multiple, please check each)
Compare what’s in box 12 of a physical or electronic copy of your W-2 with what’s in TurboTax
Specifically, letter codes and values that may appear in box 12, for example: codes A, B, or D
