What's a Support ID and how do I get one?

A Support ID is a number we use to track your request for assistance. It helps us connect you with a TurboTax specialist (for product questions) or a tax expert (for tax questions) who is best suited to help with your specific issue. The Support ID can also save you time in our phone system.
To get a Support ID for your issue, visit our Contact us page and call us directly at the phone number provided. We'll ask about your issue and then give you a Support ID. Be sure to write it down to track your issue.
