Who says? The IRS? You can't use Turbo Tax to file 2006. You can only file the last 3 years. You should go to a local accountant.

In your other thread you said the state of CA wants you to file a return for 2006.

You cannot use TurboTax to prepare a return for 2006.   There must be more to the story than you are telling us.   If you owe CA for 2006 or if you have not filed tax returns for all of those years until now, you need a lot of help, and you should seek help from a local tax pro.
