You can depreciate the building in the Assets section of your business's Schedule C. Open or continue your return.
- Navigate to the Schedule C section:
- TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to Schedule C.
- TurboTax Desktop: Search for schedule c and select the Jump to link
Then click on Edit (or use the pencil icon) next to your business description. Then, depending on your platform:
- In Desktop - scroll down to Business Assets to add building depreciation
- TurboTax Online - Click on Add Expenses, then scroll down below Less Common and put a check next to Assets, then click Continue.
