Working in NYC as a non resident

My primary address is in Florida and I work remotely for a Florida company.  I spend some time in NYC and have a part time W-2 job in NYC when I am there.  Do I have to pay NY state tax on my earnings from my Florida job  ,or just the earnings that I made from NYC?

No.  You do not have to pay taxes on your Florida Job to NY.  You will only pay taxes to NY on income that is considered NY sourced income

Please note, When you fill out the NY return, they do start with your federal income and then as you walk through, you will need to make adjustments to income in order to remove the income that you earn in FL.
