Working from home full time, my employer is based in Michigan and I am considering a move to Kentucky. Would my income be taxed by both states?

Your income is taxed by the state where you do the work, and by the state that you live in. It doesn't matter where your employer's office is located. If you live and work in the same state, you pay tax only to that state.

There are a few states that tax out-of-state remote workers in certain circumstances, but Michigan is not one of them.
