Did you enter a qualifying person as a dependent on your tax return? Did you enter your filing status as Single or Married Filing Separately?

Do you proved over one-half the cost to maintain your household?
On the right panel in TurboTax, under 2024 Taxes, choose My Info, Edit, click until you get to the screen About your household. Make sure you have entered your dependents. Continue on and answer that you paid more than half the cost of to keep up your home, if you did so. This will allow you to file Head of Household.

I did. It still won't give me that option to change it from single... @MindyB
I got a dependent credit and everything but it's only doing a standard deduction for some reason

The standard deduction has nothing to do with the child tax credit.
Yes I did. But I never had the option to enter my filing status it just took the info from last year
I know. I was just saying that to indicate that yes she a dependent, yes she lived with me the entire year and yes I supported her and she made less than 5000 and is not filing taxes this year
