Will we be reevaluated for a refund advance if our first e-file was rejected and then corrected and resubmitted and accepted by the IRS?

Originally filed on 1/27/25 - efile was rejected because of missing 1095 information. Corrected 1/30/25, submitted and accepted by IRS on 1/31/25. We originally received a rejection, I’m assuming because the 1040 was rejected for missing information. Now I’m receiving email information in regard to “pending acceptance from IRS” for a refund advance loan.

Yes.  The refund advance loan will be triggered when the status of your return changes from pending to accepted.  This typically happens with a few hours, but at times can take a bit longer (typically no more than 72 hours once the IRS has begun accepting returns.)

Just so I make sure I understand correctly. Once the IRS accepted our “fixed” return, it was up to 72 hours for it to trigger the reevaluation of our refund advance application?

i just double checked my accepted date and it was actually 2/2/25. The last email I received was an email “action needed” from web bank saying to fix and refile by 2/28/25, but if I already did nothing else was needed from me.

1.Yes.

2. Correct, since you corrected and filed again successfully, there is nothing else to fix.
