Will Turbo tax allow you for do two different state tax returns with one license?

I know turbo tax allows you to do 5 federal returns and 1 state return.  But my question is for example, with just one turbo tax license: if you have 4 returns that will need to filed ( 4 federal and 4 state (All 4 state returns will be for the same state). Then, if you have one other tax return that will need to be filed; but this return will be for a different state than the previous 4 state returns.  Will Turbo tax allow you to do the 5th (last) return to a different state?  And, will the different state return require a separate charge/fee ($)?  For the last (different) state return, I don't really need to e-file the different state return. I am ok to mail the state returns.

Thanks.

with the desktop version, for 1 price you can but the federal and one state. each additional state is extra. you can e-file up to 5 federal returns for free. the IRS does not allow more than 5 e-files by one person.

e-filing a state may involve a fee but certain states do not allow a fee to be charged.

online is different. each return must be prepared in a separate account. fees vary

The desktop download software for an additional, different state will cost about $40.   You can avoid the state e-file fees if you print and mail the state returns.
