Will the Online version of TurboTax 2017 run with a Mac running OS X 10.10.5? Presently, TurboTax will not open.

I downloaded the online version and this version also failed to open due to the outdated OS X

It may be the version of OS X 10 that is causing the problem running Turbo Tax on your Mac.  You may also want to try using a different browser like Chrome instead of Safari to see if that solves the problem.
