Is your credit being declined or are you not able to enter your credit card information?

  1. Enter your credit card information manually. Don't use the autofill feature.
  2. Enter your credit card info exactly as you see it on your card, including any abbreviations, punctuation, or middle initials.
  3. Enter your address exactly as shown on your credit card statement.
    • For example, if your statement lists your address as 123 Elm Street #3, don't enter 123 Elm St., No. 3.
  4. Double check that your phone number is the same one your credit card issuer has on file.

If problems persist:

  • Contact the card issuer at the number on the back of your credit card to validate the name, phone number, and billing address on file.
  • Pay your fees with a different card, if you have one. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

The section "How Do You Want To Pay?" asks for a credit card for payment ($25) but I do not own a credit card.

@Swbostick If you are referring to the fee to e-file a state return using the CD/download software, you can avoid that fee altogether by printing and mailing the state return.   Or....if you really want to e-file it and do not have a credit card--go to a drugstore etc and purchase a prepaid card for $25 to use.  Do not fall into the trap of using your federal refund to pay the $25 fee or you will also be charged an extra refund processing fee of $39.
