Will my w2 be emailed or uploaded automatically? I signed up to receive my w2 electronically.

Employers have until the end of January to provide your W-2.  if your employer is partnered with TurboTax you should be able to import your W-2 into your 2017 tax return.  It will NOT be automatically entered in to your 2017 tax return.  YOU have to import it or enter it manually yourself.
