Will my stock sell add to my marginal tax bracket? I am 62 and will make 32,000 in wages, 7,000 in qualified dividends. I have a long term gain sell of 123,000.00.

Testing your situation...as "single" with a Standard Deduction using the 2016 tax software, I get

You will have a Federal tax assessment of ~$20,400  (including an estimated ~$475 tax penalty for underpayment, but you may not be subject to that).  State tax depends on what state you are in.

I have not included any withholding you may have already done with your paycheck, or any estimated payments you might have made already, and the STD Ded assumes you have no itemized deductions.....but you can figure the math on that yourself to see what your total tax bill is likely to be......

Long-term holding reduces your taxes on that gain, but yes, your gain is included in your AGI for determining your marginal tax bracket.
