Will I still get a stimulus payment via Direct Deposit, even if I owe a Federal Tax Due amount as per my 2020 Tax Return which I filed a few weeks ago? Please advise!

I received my first two stimulus payments via Direct Deposit based on my 2019 Tax Return. This one I'm asking about, is for the Third Stimulus Check amount that will be sent next week.

The bill has not yet become law.

It is assumed Taxpayers will receive the third payment the same way they received the first two.

I assume you will pay the tax due and also get a direct deposit.

This is not what is happening at all in my case.  We haven't received a direct deposit for our stimulus and we are under the 150,000 cap.  I want to pay my taxes with my stimulus check, but sure haven't received a direct deposit and when I check on the payment took, I get that my stimulus hasn't been processed.

The IRS expects that people will start receive their stimulus payments as early as March 17th.  For information on when you can expect your stimulus payment, keep checking the IRS Get My Payment tool which will be updated starting the week of March 15th.
