Will I need to.file a form 1099-G for unemployment I received this past year?

You can enter your form 1099-G by following these steps:

 

  1. In TurboTax, open your tax return
  2. Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages & Income
  3. Scroll down to locate the section Unemployment and click on the arrow on the right
  4. Click Start next to Unemployment and Paid Family Leave.
