Why would the "refund to you" amount on 2018 -1040 line 20 ($9098) be $6 less than the overpaid amount on line 19 ($9104)?

Using Turbo-Tax Premier pc software, 2018.

I would take a look at line 23 of your IRS 1040.  It sounds like it might be a penalty.  

If you find it is a penalty, take a look at IRS Form 2210 to understand why you were penalized.

yes, thanks for pointing that out, it is also $6 (as a tax penalty), which i'll have to figure why, since i overpaid estimated tax payments.
