Why was my return rejected for the state? And, for the federal? How do I fix it?

I dropped my email account and so I never knew that my returns were rejected. I have wasted all morning trying to full with TurboTax and of course I cannot speak with an expert even though I paid full price and I was guaranteed I could speak to an expert.

What do I have to do in order to enable me to speak to an expert?

Suggest you resubmit your returns using your current email address.  If they are rejected again, you'll receive a return email showing the reason or code number for the rejection.  Then post back if necessary.

Edited. 🙂

Did you keep a hard copy or PDF copy of the filed returns?

Check with TT if the email address you used 'n' number of months ago is still on its records. Do you have a copy of the acknowledgment when you paid for the support?

Since the fed and tax authorities rejected your return, start TT, update the s/w, then open your return. A quick review might show a few reasons.
