Does line 16 or 17 of the IRS form 8995 Qualified Business Income Deduction report a carryforward from the previous year? If so, the carryforward will follow you until the carryforward is used up.
Line 1 of the form will report which income is generating qualified business income.
Remove that income from your tax return and you are able to remove the form.
