Why is there a Miscellaneous Income amount in my income listing when I did not enter anything in that section?

Did you received Form 1099-MISC, or did you automatically imported a transaction from a financial institution? Some times uploading information directly from a financial institution will include a Form 1099-MISC. 

It is not recommended to delete a form, instead we recommend to go over your return from the beginning and double check your entries and answers. If everything is correct and it still populating that form follow the instructions using the links below to delete that specific form/section.

I found the issue: the amount was a part of my clergy employment and was left over unused housing allowance. It is a rare situation.
