Why is the wages, salary etc. listed in Turbotax higher than the amount listed as wages on my W2. This relates to a nonresident state return.

Please clarify your question.

 

  • For each state does W-2 box 18 correspond to the state tax return?
  • If not, what state?
  • Is W-2 box 1 different than box 18?
