Why is my TurboTax version showing the self-employed edition?

I am trying to amend my 2018 return. When I go into the amend section, it is suddenly showing that I am on "turbotax Self-Employed." I have never been self-employed, and I definitely did not prepare my 2018 taxes using the self-employed version of Turbotax.

If you are amending to add a 1099-MISC or a 1099-K, then Turbo Tax may suddenly show Turbo Tax Self-Employed. When you click on Amend and answer what you are changing, the program will decide which version has the correct forms for your situation. So, while you may not have used this version before, it has something you need.

This version has forms that the other versions don't have. You can see a comparison of the forms within the versions by clicking on the blue words. You can choose desktop or online versions for comparison.

This link regarding a 1099-MISC may be helpful. For 2019, box 7 is interpreted as self-employed with a need to pay Medicare and Social Security tax. If you need additional assistance, would you please share your reason for amending?
