Why is my return lower than ever? I bought a home, have a pregnant dependent who doesn't work and also paid more in taxes this year than last, I should get more honestly

Makes no sense, when I worked at sonic I got $1k every year, same with the army, now I pay $9k when I only brought home $55k…the crap?

there can be thousands of reasons and we have no access to your returns. so pull out 2022s return and compare line for line to 2023.
