Why is my filing consistently rejected due to banking information when in fact my submission is accurate?

I have requested direct deposit into my financial institution for my federal refund, and an automatic payment from my bank to cover my state taxes. However, my forms are consistently rejected and I cannot seem to submit them and I'm not sure why this is happening. Has this happened to anyone? And how were you able to rectify this?

This can happen when the account information isn't correct, or it is incorrectly formatted. ‌Make sure your account information again, make sure you haven't entered any dashes or spaces between the numbers.

You can also try clearing your cache (that is, remove these temporary files) because a full or corrupted cache can cause problems in TurboTax.  You can try these steps if you are using the online version:

  • Clearing your Cache and Cookies
  • Using a different browser
  • Opening an Incognito Window

If the reject continues, you will need to print this return and file by mail.

Thank you for the reply. These suggestions didn't help me. I will need to file the old fashioned method I suppose.
