Why is my Federal e-file return being rejected if my daughter, who is a full time student, noted on her taxes that someone else can claim her?

If your daughter has filed her return, her Social Security Number is already in the IRS system and brought up an alert when it was also included in your return as a dependent, even if she said that someone else could claim her.

Just print and mail in your return.
