Why is Line 52 of the Employee Home Office Worksheet is calculated incorrectly to be $0?

If I follow the instructions on the worksheet manually and multiply the numbers as instructed, the answer is not zero. Yet, TurboTax has been incorrectly calculating Line 52 on the worksheet to be zero on all my tax returns since 2018. I read in another thread that "For tax years 2018 thru 2025 employee business expenses are no longer deductible on a federal tax return - Form 2106, Employee Business Expenses is no longer used", which is fine if it's actually true, but the worksheet itself cannot multiply two non-zero numbers and get an answer of zero. That's just wrong. TurboTax needs to fix this error.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 eliminated the deductions for home office for W2 employees as well as unreimbursed job expenses for employees for tax years 2018 forward.

As many of the provisions of this law have sunset years where parts of the law expire, TurboTax may have disabled the totals on this worksheet to ensure our Accuracy Guarantee is maintained while keeping the worksheet in the event a form of this deduction is restored at the end of the current period of legislation.
