Why has TurboTax lobbied to keep the government from creating a return free tax system, and why does it work so hard to hide the true free tax return systems online?

All the tax preparation companies are private companies.  They do have to make a profit and write the programs etc. and provide a service.  There are several free file websites.  They are listed at the IRS.

Why? it's called 'capitalism' and 'greed'.  It's the American Way 😉
