Why doesnt turbotax allow downloading of brokerage data when it becomes available?

I have manually downloaded and printed all my brokerage 1099 from the big 3 brokerages:  Vanguard, Fidelity, and Schwab.  But when I try to import electronically, turbotax wont even try and says that it will not be available until some date 1-2 weeks from now, even if it already is available.  Is there any way to override this prohibition?  I dont want to wait 2 more weeks to get started on my taxes...

Although you might be able to view or print your information from the website, most banks, brokerages and other financial institutions do not have the data formatted for import into tax software before sometime in February.  So if you are wanting to enter it sooner, you have to key it in by hand.   Or….wait until it is available for import.

I was able to import Vanguard today.  The pdf files you can get Online now at financial companies are not the same as the special import files they have to make.  It’s Fidelity and Schwab etc.  that needs to make them available.
