Why do you think TT does not accept PNC Bank?  What are you trying to do?

I am trying to set up  direct deposit and it is not accepting PNC  as my financial institution.

Then you are entering something incorrectly.  Do you have the correct routing number and account number for direct deposit?   I have personally had refunds sent to PNC with no problem whatsoever.

Its 2021 and its clearly still an issue. When you go to update direct deposit information it says they can't validate the numbers entered. I've checked it ten times and its correct. Held up my banking app info next to it and checked. Still says the same thing. So its something to do with turbo not recognizing that bank.

Be sure you are using the correct routing number.      it's a 9 digit number on  the bottom of your check to the left of the account number.   If a savings account then call your bank to verify the correct routing number.

I contacted my bank, and turbotax expert help. Neither gave me any answers. The bank told me to contact turbotax and then turbotax told me to contact my bank. They sent me in circles with no answers so unfortunately I had to use my old bank account just so I know my money would come through. It's clearly an issue that needs fixed. They said I could still continue the direct deposit using the information that I had, but I didn't want to take any chances of my money getting held up somehow because turbotax doesn't work well with pnc.

You should be able to type your bank name in, if it does not appear in the drop down menu. The routing number identifies the bank, so if this information is correct, the IRS will not have any issues locating the bank. Please see the link below for more information:

Which number on my check is the routing number?

I found that if you remove the first digit it will accept the account number. It only sees 9 digits instead of 10
