Why doesn’t my child who was born inJune, 2017 show up as a dependent on Turbox Tax?

Go back to the personal info tab and edit the dependents and check all your entries for your child.

Check the child’s Social Security number, date of birth, and designate that the child lived with you for over six months, and that the child did not provide over one half of his own support.

If the above does not resolve the issue, let us know.

A child born (even on Dec 31) is considered to live with you the whole year. So pick the Whole Year at the top of the drop down box.
